Most protective gloves look protective, with hard shells on the back and plates across the knuckles, visible from across a parking lot. The Olympus takes a different approach. The knuckle padding sits under the leather instead of on top of it, in the same place but without anything proud of the surface or anything to catch on a jacket cuff. Reinforced panels take the pressure through the palm, stretch panels let the fingers move, and air mesh handles the heat that builds up on a longer ride. A zipper closure secures the wrist, and the fingertips are touchscreen-compatible. It comes in black, in seven sizes, XS to 3XL.

  1. Genuine leather construction
  2. Hidden knuckle padding
  3. Reinforced palm panels
  4. Stretch finger panels
  5. Abrasion-resistant panels
  6. Air mesh fabric for airflow
  7. Zipper wrist closure
  8. Touchscreen-compatible fingertips
  9. Seven sizes, XS to 3XL, in black

Protection sits where it is needed and stays out of sight where it is not.

  1. Knuckles: hidden padding beneath the leather surface
  2. Palm: reinforced panels, covering both the grip and the slide that follows an impact
  3. Fingers: stretch panels for movement, not for protection
  4. Wrist: zipper closure, keeping the glove secured on your hand

The padding sits beneath the leather rather than on top of it, so there is nothing proud of the surface and nothing to snag.

  • Shell: Genuine leather
  • Knuckle: Hidden padding
  • Palm: Reinforced panels
  • Abrasion Panels: Abrasion-resistant fabric at the high-contact zones
  • Ventilation: Air mesh fabric
  • Panels: Stretch panels on the fingers
  • Closure: Zipper
  • Daily riding
  • Highway use
  • Longer rides
  • Everyday commuting
  • Warm weather
  • Off-bike wear

Do not machine wash. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and air dry away from direct heat, since a radiator or a hot car will stiffen and crack leather faster than any amount of riding. Treat with a leather conditioner when the leather starts to feel dry, and keep conditioner off the mesh panels.

Orders ship in 3 to 5 business days. Returns are open for 30 days, and size exchanges are free. Protectors are covered against defects but should be replaced after any impact.

01 // LOW PROFILE

PROTECTION THAT DOES NOT ANNOUNCE ITSELF.

Most protective gloves look protective — hard shells on the back, plates across the knuckles, the whole thing visible from across a car park. These put the padding under the leather instead. Same place on the hand, nothing sitting proud of the surface, nothing to catch on a jacket cuff. It is the glove for a rider who wants the protection and would rather not advertise it.

COMMON QUESTIONS

With a zipper. It is a point of difference from the Velcro closures used across most of the JAG glove range.

Yes. Padding sits beneath the leather at the knuckles rather than as a hard shell on top. It covers the same area while keeping the glove flat and clean-looking.

This is the low-profile option. Most of the range leads with a visible hard knuckle guard. This one hides the protection under the leather, so the glove looks like an ordinary one off the bike.

Yes, genuine leather, which is why they feel firm at first and soften to the shape of your hand over the first few rides.

Yes. Air mesh panels move heat out, which is what makes them workable on a longer ride or a warm day.

Yes. The fingertips are touchscreen-compatible, so checking a map at a stop does not mean taking a glove off.
